We are excited to announce that Kelsey Gray and Marina Shumakovich, both Bioengineering PhD candidates, have joined the lab! Kelsey received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and is this year's recipient of the Fischell Fellowship. Marina received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University. Welcome, Kelsey and Marina!
Congratulations to undergraduate researcher Dakota Katz (Bioengineering, '16) who was recently named a Maryland Summer Scholar! Dakota received this award based on her proposal to investigate interactions between brain microvascular endothelial cells and the mechanical properties of the microenvironment at the blood-brain barrier.
