Last night Dr. Stroka presented the keynote talk at Dr. Chris Jewell's end-of-year poster session for the "Program to Enhance Participation in Research." This event hosted 10th grade high school students from Wheaton High School and allowed them to present their year-long research projects to their peers and parents, as well as faculty and grad students at UMD. Dr. Stroka's talk was titled "Engineering Your Future" and focused on her advice for using the engineering design process to create a vision for students' futures, and also on the lab's research efforts. Thank you to Dr. Jewell for the invitation, and congratulations to all the students who participated in this program!
Congratulations to Dr. Stroka's Capstone Design Team (Team microVax), along with all the other seniors, on completion of their Senior Design project, poster, and shark tank presentations!
