PhD student Kelsey Gray has been selected to receive a competitive travel award and was also invited to give a talk at the Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering Conference in January 2017 on the Big Island of Hawaii! Her talk is titled "Biomimetic Matrices for Blood-brain Barrier-on-chip: Potential of Microelectronics" and will focus on her recent efforts to create an electrodeposited blood-brain-barrier-on-chip.
Kelsey recently gave a talk on her work at the 19th International Signal Transduction at the Blood-Brain Barriers Symposium in Copenhagen, Denmark (September 2016) and will also be giving a talk at the American Society for Matrix Biology Annual Meeting in St. Petersburg, FL in November 2016.
